Have some experience with both Vonage and Skype. My daughter uses Vonage and has been real happy with it. I use Skype for my internet businesses and don't need a 911 service and have been real pleased with it.

Comcast offers the bundle package with phone, net and cable. If anything ever happens with Comcast's cable physical lines or billing mistakes occur, customer will be w/o phone. When I had Vonage I appreciated receiving emails alerting me to new messages. That was quite convenient. It was also very nice to have the ability to listen my messages online or via telephone. Its a great bonus to receive all of the add-ons for no extra charge. Read what we have presented on the pages of our web site and try VoIP, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
